Over the years, BAWS has thrown some truly unforgettable events on IWD to celebrate and uplift our community here in The Bay. Our archive is a stroll down memory lane of now legendary fairs, performances, and fundraisers. You name it, we’ve done it.
This IWD, we bring you Pleasure4Ever — a party built to last, for an org that intends to do the same. Pleasure4Ever is the kickoff of our $150K Save BAWS Campaign, and our first goal is $10K — raised right here on GiveButter through ticket sales, a silent auction, and donations. Our GiveButter campaign is your home base for all of it — grab tickets, bid on the silent auction, or donate from wherever you are. Every dollar counts whether you're in the room or across the country.
We’re bringing some of the baddest artists, vendors, and experiences together on May 31st at the Stud in SF from 5-10 pm for a celebration of PLEASURE, all to benefit BAWS and the long term sustainability of our work and our future.
We’ll be joined by Franzia Rosé & Lisa Frankenstein hosting drag bingo and bar games, Altaer’s pop up strip club, and DJ Euphemia. A wild assemblage of vendors will play their trades all night. Think tattoos, leather arts, beauty, and glam. Our BAWS tops team will be holding court at a spanking booth. The hot seat will fill up fast…We’ll be distributing resources from Remedy Alliance, Common Humanity Collective, and SF Dept. of Public Health: Overdose Prevention.

Events like this is what BAWS does. And here's the truth: none of it happens without resources.
Eight years of peer-led organizing. Workshops, trainings, emergency grants, resource fairs, harm reduction, celebrations, memorials, community hubs. Built by workers for workers.
Currently, BAWS has funding to operate until October, 2026... We are the last peer-led organization of our kind in the Bay Area. What we’ve built doesn’t exist anywhere else, and it won’t rebuild itself if we’re gone.
