Bay Area Bad Date List
BAWS is proud to host the Bay Area Bad Date List on our website. We consider it a privilege and pleasure to steward this critical arm of communal safety, and we will do so with care and unwavering commitment.
The Bad Date List is a resource that aims to increase awareness and alert other sex workers about clients who:
Are potential threats or are high-risk to perpetrate violence, and/or
Have threatened or carried out intimidation, robbery, and/or assault against sex workers.
If you have experienced any of the above, and feel you are able to, please complete the reporting form below. The questions on the form are meant to help you remember what happened, and to let you know what information is important for us to collect. If there were multiple people involved in the Bad Date, please include each person in one single reporting form. If there is a question that does not apply to your Bad Date, please feel free to skip it.
If you are seeking additional support, you can find resources for legal, mental health, and medical support, including STI testing, on the BAWS website.
To report a bad date please use this intake form. Information is collected on‘Crypt Pad’ an open-source, end-to-end encrypted document. You are able to report anonymously if you’d like. Please note that the information shared in this form is accessed by the BAWS team ONLY. This form is available for use by all sex workers within the Bay Area.
The final Bad Date List report will have some redacted information, and the redacted version of the form is what will be posted on our website.
For privacy’s sake, DO NOT share the intake form or the published Bad Date List in public spheres, like social media or other websites. Instead, we encourage folks to privately share the page on our website that links to the reporting form.
We aim to have the published Bad Date List ready for you by early Spring and will be periodically updating it throughout the year. Keep an eye out for it!

BAWS se enorgullece de presentar la Lista de Citas Inapropiadas del Área de la Bahía en nuestro sitio web. Consideramos un privilegio y un placer gestionar este aspecto crucial de la seguridad comunitaria, y lo haremos con cuidado y un compromiso inquebrantable.
La Lista de Citas Inapropiadas es un recurso que busca concienciar y alertar a otras trabajadoras sexuales sobre clientes que:
Son amenazas potenciales o presentan un alto riesgo de cometer actos de violencia, y/o
Han amenazado o cometido intimidación, robo o agresión contra trabajadoras sexuales.
Si ha experimentado alguna de las situaciones anteriores y se siente capaz de hacerlo, complete el formulario de denuncia a continuación. Las preguntas del formulario le ayudarán a recordar lo sucedido y a saber qué información es importante que recopilemos. Si hubo varias personas involucradas en la cita inapropiada, incluya a cada una en un solo formulario de denuncia. Si hay alguna pregunta que no se aplica a su cita inapropiada, no dude en omitirla.
