WE INVITE YOU TO A ‘WHORES’ PICNIC’ FOR INTERNATIONAL WHORES DAY 2021

This has been an especially challenging year for sex workers - we have had to pivot and hustle our way through a pandemic, uncertainty, and loss. On June 2nd, International Whores Day, communities worldwide will gather to advocate for the well-being of sex workers. This year, Bay Area Workers Support (BAWS) invites local sex workers to gather for an afternoon of community celebration and support. Please bring your food, drink, and blanket/chairs for the grass. We can’t wait to see you!

Bay Area Workers Support (BAWS) is a peer-led resource organization. We work for the health, safety, and livelihoods of people in the sex trade. In the face of criminalization, stigma, and inadequate resources, BAWS mobilizes. We harness our community power to provide material resources, information, advocacy, and support. We build community capacity, increase social support, make local partnerships, and bolster community care structures to bring strength, justice, and love to Bay Area workers. bayareaworkerssupport.org
