Join us for an "Evening of Delights" on May 24th, from 6-9 pm at the New Parkway Theater in Oakland, as we come together to support our local sex workers. This event is part of the 12th biennial San Francisco Sex Worker Films and Arts Festival (SWFF), featuring a selection of tantalizing films and artist discussions curated by Failed Films Festival.

All ticket sales will go to Bay Area Workers Support (BAWS), a mutual aid organization for sex workers. BAWS produces programs such as "ER Grants," the only emergency funding for sex workers in the Bay Area, "Cash in Hand," which provides direct financial support to outdoor workers, and a plethora of legal, mental health, COVID-19, and social service resources for Bay Area workers.

The more tickets we sell, the more money we can distribute back to our community, so Invite your film nerd buddy, sex work crew, or sweetie(s) to enjoy these cinematic treats with you. Snacks, drinks, and libations will be available for purchase at the Theater, and we'll also have a raffle and sell new BAWS T-shirts.

Since 1999, the SWFF has provided a forum for sex worker film and video makers and has become a vibrant venue for performances, workshops, visual arts, political organizing, skills sharing, and expanding events for sex workers from San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, and beyond.

Failed Films has created opportunities for sex worker and artist communities to take risks with their creative projects Their film festival has been a haven for talented artists who straddle many subcultures and genres, giving artists a beautiful place to ‘fail.’

BAWS proudly supports our community by partnering with SWFF and Failed Films. We recognize and honor the rich magic that is brought into our communities by celebrating sex worker artists.
